As a Critter Sitters of California
Representative:
- You must be at least 18 years of age with a resume
and references
(No relatives please.)
- You should have a basic understanding of animal behavior
and care for most domestic pets. You should always watch for and respond
to signs of illness or injury to the animals your care for.
- You will be required to meet the client and fill out
a contract at clients home. You must fulfill these contracts as per
client requests and continue to care for contracted pets until you are
informed that the client is home.
- You must be able to make one to two in-home visits
per day, including weekends and holidays to provide care for animals
in the area near your home.
- You are responsible for providing your own transportation
and insurance
(both auto and health).
- A packet of supplies will be provided when you begin
work. There after, you are responsible for notifying the office when
you need more supplies.
- You will be required to notify the office 30 days in
advance of any vacation time you have scheduled. You may be asked to
find an alternate representative, a friend or relative for replacement.
- Representatives are paid a commission of 50% of the
client's total bill. You will be paid extra for jobs done outside your
designated pet sitting area.
- Paychecks are mailed out on the first and fifteenth
of every month. Pay invoices are due in the office by the Wednesday
prior to the end of each pay period.
- You must sign the "No Compete Agreement"
before given any jobs.
